Curbside service will continue for the remainder of the summer season. We are currently waiting for protective equipment to arrive (hands free hand sanitizer, shields, etc) and as soon as we are able to safely reopen for both staff and patrons, we will slowly phase in being open to the public a few days each week. We will require you to call the library and schedule an appointment to come in. Appointments will be scheduled on the top and bottom of the hour and will be limited to 20 minutes. You will be required to wear a mask to enter the building. We hope this will allow patrons to quickly come in and browse the collection, choosing by sight what you would like to read. There will be a cart available to place any books that you’ve looked at but do not wish to take out. This will allow staff to wipe down those books before reshelving.
We have also done some major rearranging in the main library to make it easier to find what you are looking for. We hope you will enjoy the new set up. Stay tuned to our website and to Facebook for announcements about exactly when we will be able to begin scheduling appointments. We are excited to be getting close to the day when we can welcome patrons in the building once again.
