The library will be open by appointment beginning July 21 and will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-4. We will still be open for curbside service for those who are not yet comfortable being in the building. Masks will be required to enter and you have a choice of two types of appointments: a 30 minute browsing appointment or a 20 minute appointment for using the computer. If you’d like to do a bit of both, choose the longer appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Follow the instructions and schedule a time and day that works for you. You’ll be asked for your name and your email so that we can send you a reminder that your appointment is coming up. On the day of your appointment, knock on the front door and someone will be out to let you in the building. As stated earlier, masks will be required and we ask that you arrive just before your scheduled time and exit the building at the end of your scheduled time so that someone else can enter. We hope this makes patrons comfortable knowing that they will be the only ones in the building besides staff during their scheduled visit.
If you have trouble with the online scheduling system, feel free to call the library at 422-9765 and we can talk you through it or schedule your visit by phone. As visits are scheduled, those times will disappear off the calendar and will leave only the times that are available. Should we find that we have more interest for browsing, and if this experiment goes well, we can always begin to slowly add days to the schedule. Give us a call if you have questions or send us an email to [email protected]
