The library will begin curbside service the week of May 18. If you would like to place items on reserve for pick up, you’ll need your barcode number to log in to the library catalog. Once there, patrons can place up to two book titles and/or two movie/audio titles on hold for pick up. We realize this is limiting for some patrons, but we ask for your patience as we set up this process. Once everything is in place, we may be able to up the number of items per patron. Staff will call to let you know your items are ready,. Patrons can pick up titles on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday any time between 10-1. If you have not logged in to the library catalog before, please send us an email so that we can make sure your account is set up correctly. It will need to be set up by staff before you can access titles. If you have logged in before, your username is your 9 digit barcode and your password is your last name, all lower case. You can change your password once you are able to access the system.
The building will remain closed to the public until we are directed by the town to begin a phased opening. Hours, at first, will be limited as we continue to monitor the situation and receive guidance from the governor’s office and the Vermont Department of Health. When picking up materials, please observe social distancing, wear a mask for the protection of our staff, and remain in your vehicle if someone else is at the table picking up their holds. All materials can be returned in the book drop at any time.
Staff is in the building on a more regular basis, so if you have questions or would like to talk with a staff member, you can call the library most mornings from 10-12, though email is still the easiest way to connect: [email protected]
