Please be aware that the library follows the same procedure as the local schools. If schools are cancelled due to weather issues, the library will also be closed for the day. We will post closures on social media and on library voicemail.
The Sherburne Library is free of charge to all Vermont residents and Killington property taxpayers. There are two types of library cards:
Personal card: a single, confidential account.
Family card: an account shared among family members. Anyone listed on the family card may see what items are checked out on the account or pick up items being held, regardless of who requested them.
Any family member can be on a family card account and have a personal card account. Visitors may purchase a card if they would like to borrow library materials. The fee is $15 for an individual and $25 for a family card.
The library is hosting a Ladies & Laser Night on Thursday, January 30, at 6pm. This is a fundraiser for the annual Vermont Fairy Tale Festival and the fee to participate is $25. The library will be showing Wicked on Friday, January 3, and Tuesday, January 7, at noon both days. We are excited to offer two showing to our patrons and if anyone is interested in an evening showing, please let us know at the library and we’ll see what we can do!

A Community Sing is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, from 4-5pm at Killington's Little White Church. We'll be singing everything from Santa Baby to Silent Night. Hot chocolate and treats included. Everyone is welcome!
